    Dear Viewer
Last few days ago I visited Dr. M.A.K. Azad Chowdhury’s chamber for my relatives baby after hearing a lot of good comment from others but huh…
Is he human or machine ? He does not give us only 3 min and his attitude is very rough. Is he treated us free? He does not see the patients test report though he advised to prepare the tests. Moreover he has lack of knowledge about different company medicine. I am very much disappointed to visit the doctor. Everyone please think just a minute before visit this doctor.

I would like to talk to you regarding my baby as I think my baby’s TIKA (vaccination) is not properly maintained. Need to discuss to regularise the TIKA(vaccination. Waiting for your reply.

Hello Parvez, hope your baby is fine. What is your specific query regarding the TIKA (vaccination) of your baby? Why are you thinking TIKA is not properly maintained? Is there any definite reason behind that? Please write in details. You must have known that almost all health care facilities give babies EPI vaccines as per schedule. Few centers encourage parents to complete some other important vaccines that are yet not included in the EPI schedule. If you are attached to any TIKA center near your residence and follow their TIKA schedule/protocol there will be no chance of mismanagement.

I am very worried about my baby. My baby is now 9 months old. He is doing very good. All his activities are very good. But I am worried out his ultrasonogram(USG) report of brain. I did two USG reports of his brain. 1st one was on 22.02.18 which says “Lateral ventricles diameters at the level of Foramen Monro is 16 mm on right side and 16 mm in the left. Moderate fluid collection in the interhemispheric fissure which is 11.6 mm in width. Also moderate subdural collection seen which is 10.2 mm in depth in the right side and 12.0 mm in the left. 3rd and 4th ventricle appears normal”. Next I did his 2nd USG of brain on 01.07.18 which shows “Lateral ventricles 14 mm right and 17 mm left and interhemispheric fissure is 10.7. Subdural fluid collection is 6.3 mm in the right side and 6.4 mm in the left. 3rd ventrical is minimal to mildly dilated”.
USG Comments: Lateral Ventricles, Third Ventricles extra axial fluid collection are suggestive of possible changes due to hypoxic ischaemic insult.
What should I do? Please give some suggestions.

Dear Arafat, Thank you for writing me. Your baby is clinically alright meaning that nothing so serious in his brain. There are some minor problems in his brain which probably is related to hypoxic(lack of oxygen) injury of brain during the delivery or birth process. I carefully read the USG reports and came to know that problems are improving(comparing the 2nd report with the 1st one). In course of time it will be completely cured. Whatever your baby need is regular follow up by a Pediatric Neurologist. Nothing to worry about. If you want to know about Pediatric Neurologist please mail me.
      Keep in touch
